Since our inception in 2010 and the technical development of Sila in 2018, we've been dedicated to helping global brands connect with and influence consumers.
Our Journey
Sila was officially launched in 2018 after extensive work with international brands seeking insights into their consumers in the region.
Our team initially used various audience insight tools, but we found that many produced odd and inaccurate results, particularly when dealing with Arabic and other non-European languages. These tools often mistranslated data, misinterpreting sentiments and emotions, and missing the essence of what was being said.
Adapting to Challenges
The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 heightened the need for accurate and comprehensive consumer insights. This was when Sila truly came into its own. Leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP) and other AI tools, we developed Arabic-native solutions that do not require translation. This allowed us to provide our clients with a deep and accurate understanding of their audiences.
Innovative Solutions
In 2021, we discovered a spatial element in the data we were analyzing, leading to the creation of the SilaCities product suite. This innovation added a new dimension to our offerings, enabling us to provide even more detailed and actionable insights.
